Understanding Explanatory Text   Explanation texts are texts that contain the process of why and how a natural, scientific, social, cultural, and other event can occur. An event both natural and social events that occur around us, always have a causal relationship and process.
Aim The explanatory text includes:
    1. Explain the phenomenon that occurs. 

    2. Explain the cause and effect of an event.  

    3. Characteristics of the Explanation Text It's easy to distinguish explanatory text from description text or other text. Because the explanatory text has very special characteristics.  

 Characteristics:
    1. The structure consists of a general statement, the order of causes and effects, and interpretation. 

    2. Information published based on facts (factual). 

    3. The factual contains information that is scientific / scientific, for example science. It is informative and does not attempt to influence the reader to believe what is being discussed.

   Definition of Procedural 

  Text Procedure Text is text that contains steps that must be taken to achieve the desired goal and there is an explanation / information in that step. For example you are looking for writing how to whiten faces through the internet, well in the text of the text there will be a way or step how to whiten the face so that it produces pure white as you want. the way presented is step by step in sequence so that the reader is able to follow the tutorial presented.
  Purpose of Procedure Text The purpose of writing a Text Procedure is to show or explain how to do something with sequential steps and make it easier for the reader or listener to be able to follow the steps or commands of the contents of the text whose final destination can be according to the wishes of the reader and listener.

  Miscellaneous Text of procedure Below this is a type of procedure text, there are three (3) types of procedure text, including:
   1. Simple Procedure Text is a procedure that can be done with only two to three actions / steps. For example: how to use a fan.

   2. Complex procedure text is a procedure in which there are actions / steps that are many or arguably quite complicated. For example: For example, procedures for obtaining a KTP.

   3. Protocol Procedure Text is a procedure whose actions or procedures or steps are not too complicated so it is easy to understand.

"HOW WEDANG GINGER IS MADE"

  Wedang ginger is a traditional ginger sari drink dish from the regions of Central and East Java, Indonesia which is generally served warm or hot. Wedang ginger is also sometimes referred to as ginger tea, although it does not contain tea leaves. "Wedang" itself is a Javanese term meaning "hot drink". Even without caffeine, this drink is often served and enjoyed like tea. This drink is made from sliced fresh ginger, brown sugar or rock sugar mixed into hot water. In addition to using fresh ginger, Indonesian people also use powdered ginger as a common ingredient in their traditional recipes. Sometimes spices such as pandan leaves, lemongrass stems, cloves and / or cinnamon are added to add flavor. Fresh milk or sweetened condensed milk can also be added.

   How to Make Wedang Ginger

The first - Material Preparation

Take "Ginger", then peel clean using a spoon and sliced. Continue geprek "Lemongrass", then a coarse comb "Javanese Sugar". Set aside all ingredients first.Note: To avoid bitter taste, make sure the ginger is peeled clean. After that cook Wedang Ginger

Prepare a pan, then boil "Mineral Water" until it boils. After boiling, input "All Ingredients" that have been prepared, then boil for 10 minutes.

Note: Use the lid, so the water does not recede because the water is evaporated. Next after the spices extract comes out and the sugar dissolves, the water will brown, which means it's cooked. Turn off the heat then filter it. Finish, serve while warm!
